Danny Jones, Charleston’s longest-serving mayor of 16 years opened this restaurant. You can enjoy everything from barbecue ribs, chicken, pork, salads, and soup. You’ll want to make sure you try his signature side, smoked potato salad. Danny started his career in restaurants in the mid-60s at the old Sterling restaurant. He then opened his first restaurant, in 1974. The restaurant can seat a few dozen people at the front and back. Inside on the walls are newspaper articles, photos and memorabilia hanging to showcase Jones’ history in Charleston, West Virginia.
